Are you thinking of starting regular exercise knowing quite well you have asthma? Well, I have new you will like to hear. Don't listen to those people who continue to say that asthma patients can't do any normal activities. That's a big fat lie that you should ignore. Many people still believe such lies without verification and in certain cases this even worsens the asthmatic condition for such people.

Asthmatic condition should not stop you from carrying but your hobbies or exercising properly. Life cannot be too much fun in the absence of sports and exercises. The benefits of exercise to your health are quite many, therefore you are advised to engage in it regardless to the fact that it has been to trigger off asthma.

But be warned. In view of your health status, do not take part in strenuous activities or exercises. Distance races are examples of what you should avoid. Long distance races are always very difficult from non asthma sufferer as well.

You will not regret trying out swimming because it does not put so much pressure on you. Another good exercise for you is karate. Golf is perfectly suited for asthmatic patients. I know you might think you are not caught out for these types of sports, but you will be surprised how much good they will do to you, especially do to your asthmatic condition.

These sports do not require much strength especially golf. Your asthmatic condition is no longer an excuse for not exercising. But try to stick to only those recommended.

Lastly, ensure that you seek the guide of your doctor before getting involved in any asthma exercise. Your doctor is the best to advice you accordingly because he or she must know more about your health than any other person. So, it's always wise to seek the help and guide of your personal doctor, as regards exercise and asthma. I know someone who taught he knew it all as regards his health. Guess what? He ended up in serious medical problems. Don't be like him. No matter how much you think you know, your doctor knows better and should be in the best position to advise you on any health related issue.
